An amazing engineer, Daimyo of the 47 ronin, a powerhouse of determination and the kindling for the rotary spirit has passed. We often do not celebrate the engineers who bring our imagination from paper to parking spot, but certainly Kenichi-san’s life if worth celebrating. The rotary brought Mazda from the brink to the podium, obscurity to world dominance. Without the rotary’s development, Miata would never have been and the answer to all things would be Corolla.

I’ll be BRAPPING it out for you today.

A true shame, but he lived a good life and has certainly left a legacy! Without him I wouldn’t have my wonderful FC.
